Which one suits your space?
- Beside a sofa or console: Boston. At 13 inches tall it stays below most seat arms and tables, and its stepped foot gives it the look of a pedestal planter without a separate stand.
- An empty room corner: Zurich. At 16 inches it has more presence on the floor, and it also sits comfortably on a low plinth.
- An entrance, lobby corner or covered verandah: Kumbh. Its full, rounded shape reads as a single object, so one piece is often enough.

How do you judge the height?
Add the plant to the planter before you decide. A 16 inch pot with an 18 inch plant gives a far taller shape than the pot size suggests. Stand a box of the same height in the corner, then view it from where you normally sit. This quick check shows whether the piece will look lost or take over the room.
